Leisure time facilities in the town include a water park, an indoor pool, sports facility, a horse ranch and the forest park Dražovka.
Located in the northwest outskirts of the town, there is an airport used for sport flying and parachuting. 

The Hořovice Cultural Centre offers a rich programme of musical and theatrical performances, mostly  in the  musical-theatrical Club Labe. Promotional and information services are provided by the Hořovice Information Centre. Town traditions include the national literary biennial Hořovice Václava Hraběte , the Šemík Memorial cycling parade, the annual gathering of helicon accordion players known as the Hořovice Helicon, and the Onion Market.
